Wooden Brick Appeal

LONG ITCHINGTON CRICKET PAVILLION PROJECT

Long Itchington Cricket Club reformed in 1976 and since then have used the same second hand hut (purchased at the time from the Royal Showground) as their pavilion. The club currently has three weekend teams, with two Saturday teams playing in the Cotswold Premier League and Division 3 and a Sunday friendly side. The club also has a thriving junior section with age groups including u11s u13s u15s and u17s. Thirty eight years on, Long Itchington Cricket Club are going to be knocking down the old hut and building a new timber frame pavilion in its place. To do this, the club need your support.

Donate £20 for a ‘wooden brick’ and have your name, an ex players name, or your business name cut into it. These wooden bricks will form part of the interior of the new pavilion forever.

If you would like to support Long Itchington Cricket Club by buying a wooden brick you can do this via the JustGiving link below. On your donation note please state what you would like on the brick, using a maximum of 30 characters.

For further details please contact Nick Brooks – Thank you for your support!

Cricketers on the Run – Fundraising

As you most likely know, club is looking to replace it’s pavilion, which has stood since the club’s reformation in 1976 and is looking to do this for the 2015 season.

On March 23rd the 9 following LICC cricketers (and one faithful wife/mother) will be tackling the Warwick half marathon;

Nick Brooks
Luke Chamberlain
Steve Chapman
Martin Clark
Tom Crosthwaite
Jo Crosthwaite
Alex Jack
Tom Perks
Andy Wood
Seb Wood

Those who know the members involved will accept that this will be challenging in the extreme, seeing as the majority struggle running 22 yards on summer Saturdays..

The new pavilion will be a great facility to be enjoyed by many, young and old, for years to come. To do this however we need to get our fundraising over the line and any support for events such as this are greatly appreciated!

If you feel you can contribute anything to this, please visit our JustGiving team page – https://www.justgiving.com/teams/liccrunning

You can donate by clicking on one of the individual team members at the bottom of the page. Every little helps!

LICC Tour 2014

Please check your emails for further details or contact Andy Wood.
